OUR APPROACH

You don’t need to know how to pose.

A session begins with a conversation. We choose the setting, light and pace together. We guide you, without expecting you to arrive with a pose rehearsed.

A session usually lasts between forty-five minutes and an hour, enough to explore a few locations or moods without rushing. If you’d like, the best images are chosen with you before the final retouching.

Let’s choose a setting that means something to you, taking access and permissions into account. For families, children’s ages and routines help us find the right time. If your session is part of a celebration, explore our wedding photography in Marrakech.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Your questions.

Do I need experience in front of a camera?

No. We talk with you and guide you throughout the session to find expressions that feel like you. Most of the people we photograph have never done a session before.

Can we arrange a session during a holiday?

Yes. Send your dates, the number of people and the kind of session you have in mind so we can discuss a location and time. Late afternoon or sunrise often give the loveliest light.

What about a professional portrait?

Our corporate service is designed for professional profiles, teams and business communications. Allow around twenty minutes for a simple individual portrait.

Where should we have a portrait session in Marrakech?

A place that means something to you is a good starting point. Light, crowds, access and permissions matter as much as the backdrop. Share your preferences and any constraints so we can plan a suitable setting. A riad, a nearby stretch of desert or a street in the medina each carry a different mood.

What should we wear?

Choose clothes that feel like you and let you move comfortably. For a group, aim for a coherent look without necessarily wearing matching outfits. The location, light and mood you want will guide our conversation before the session. Avoid busy patterns, which can distract the eye in a photograph.

How much time should we allow with children?

Ages, routines and rest times are more useful than a standard duration. Tell us what works for your family so we can plan a realistic pace, breaks and a suitable location. We agree on the session plan beforehand. A snack break or a small game between shots keeps smiles natural.

Can we combine individual and couple portraits in one session?

Yes, if we plan for it. Tell us who will be there and which combinations you would like: individual, couple or family portraits. We arrange the session around the location and agreed time. Building a little slack into the schedule makes it easier to move from one setup to another without rushing.
